am: 10 miles. Temple Loop - extended. Nice to be outside and not frozen or in a tornado. Hopefully I can get in a speed workout and core stability tonight after work.

am: 6 miles. 10 min easy warm-up then - Workout #16 (1 min hard, 1 min easy). Kept the "hard efforts" sub-6.

pm: 6 miles. TOU Mile 22 Loop. Easy/recovery pace. 45 min core & stretching.

Also, hurried to cook a healthy stir-fry meal to take for our "meal sampling night" with the youth at Church. Funny how the healthy food went untouched and the cheesy-potatoey-sausagey meal was a hit. My bad. Guess we'll be eating left-overs all week!

am: 12 miles. 8.5 miles with 12 x 200 w/200 jog at the USU track, average 41 sec, with last 4 sub-40.

Then, 60 minutes on the elliptical followed by 3.5 miles to finish out the cardio.

Hopefully I can sneak in a core workout this afternoon.

16 miles. Blacksmith Fork Canyon. I ran 17 today but didn't count the last mile that gains 400 feet in elevation, that one always ruins my average pace - call it a cool-down.

Was close to goal marathon pace through 14 miles and then made a conscious decision to slow down and see if I could turn this into a longer run. About mile 15 I bonked (possibly could have needed a better dinner last night). Hopefully there was some physical progress made today, because I sure didn't gain any mental confidence.
